Can't Stop Thinking Bout You - Remixes

Can't Stop Thinking Bout You - Remixes

The new EP Can’t Stop Thinking Bout You – Remixes is now available on all streaming platforms. The remix EP features Sanya N’Kanat’s Can’t Stop Thinking Bout You remixed four amazing house producers: ZXX, Doc Link, Craig C, and Paul Anthony. The EP was mastered by Mischa Van Der Heiden (DJ Misjah).

I’m so grateful to have worked with each of these producers. When you self-produce your own albums, they can be very one-directional, so it’s always great to see how other producers interpret and develop your songs. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to collaborate more with other producers. I need to give a special shout-out to Sean Biddle of Bid Muzik for helping to curate the EP. Here is some information about each of the producers who worked on the remix album.

ZXX

Young and relentless ZXX, born in Macedonia, raised on the outskirts of Chicago. Taking up DJing and electronic music at a very young age, signed to Dirty Fabric at the age of 17, and highly trained in sound. Also known for his successful collaboration project and protege to Paul Anthony & ZXX, which whipped up a storm across the US and other parts of the world, helping fuel the EDM movement across America. With their massive bootleg anthems, these two were at the forefront of underground electro sound and were in every DJ’s playlist, from bars, clubs, to festivals. Tracks like Sex 101 reigned supreme right before the birth of the EDM movement. Through 2009 and onwards, the duo has managed to top charts across Beatport, other sites, have been graced on world-famous decks from names like Wolfgang Gartner, Bad Boy Bill, Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Diplo, David Guetta, Afrojack, and many others. Also, a part of many high profile studio projects for labels across the world like Mixmash, Ultra, Juicy, and Menage. After a long wait, ZXX recently launched his label Ohmega Records, with popular blog releases such as Here It Is, Bankai, Violet Amplitude, hoping to grow his unique flavored sound and push innovation to the world of electronic music. One that strives for perfection and edge, he puts his energetic soul first on his productions.

Doc Link

Raised on, and inspired by, the consistently SOLID and always innovative club sets of Chicago’s Farley’ Jackmaster’ Funk and Ron Hardy. Doc Link launched his DJ career 30 years ago. When he is not headlining shows across the globe, Doc can be found working on another creation in his “lab” in the Southside of Chicago, where he was born and still resides.

Doc’s versatility and interest in genres ranging from soul and raw funk to HOUSE allowed him to develop a signature style of DJing – a mixture new and old, often including his re-edits and versions of popular tracks. Prompted by his eclectic musical background and the patience of years of learning and listening, each song becomes a personal relationship that provides him with a unique connection to his audiences.

While Doc’s dedication, professionalism, and a knack for providing the highest level of ENTERTAINMENT have earned him a lucrative and high profile DJ career, he is equally proficient in the studio. Since launching Liberate Recordings in partnership with Eman a little over a decade ago, Doc Link has overseen more than 100 releases, featuring artists like Roy Davis Jr, Stephanie Cooke, and Malik Alston.

Doc has participated in groundbreaking collaborations with producers from across the globe and has issued releases on more than a dozen leading labels including, Defected and Farris Wheel. As someone who loves music and has dedicated his life to creation, Doc’s sole purpose is to take crowds to that elusive next level.

CRAIG C

DJ Craig C. combines his knowledge of classic soul, jazz, rock, and dance with versatility and appreciation for both the deep underground grit and prime-time energy of dance floors. He has recorded and produced popular remixes, favorite bootlegs, and sly mashups for an array of artists including Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Jody Watley, Azealia Banks, Scissor Sisters, Amanda LePore, Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Rihanna, RuPaul, Ultra Naté and many more!

Craig’s wide range of musical influences helped shape his eclectic sound, “I’ll always love a diva, but I’m a sucker for a nice set of rock power chords or some edgy jazz. I think it’s really cool when you hear a dance record, and all of a sudden, there’s a wicked rock guitar solo or a pop record with some crazy jazz progression.

Paul Anthony

Paul Anthony and Zach Bletz, known professionally as Gettoblaster, are two American house and techno producers from Chicago (Zach) and Detroit (Paul). Chicago is known for starting the house movement[1] while Detroit pioneered the techno scene during the late 1980s.[2] Gettoblaster’s music conserves the genres of their respective birthplaces,[3] combining techno and house to pioneer a unique style of ghetto house music.[4] They have collaborated with well-established artists such as Bad Boy Bill, Steve “Silk” Hurley, DJ Funk, Roland Clark, and Chip E.
